Sending a friend off
Sending someone off is never easy and you hope the person will do well wherever it is they're heading off to. The wisdom is that with proper logistical planning the person will at least get there with enough to survive.
Having say that last night a bunch of us got together to said "fare thee well" to a friend who is heading off to Boston or Chicago, depending on his interview with a certain economic research company at Boston. When asked why having grown up in the West Coast he would move to the East coast or Midwest, AT's respond was, "a change of scenery. There comes a time when a man needs to be on his own." Much respect for AT. Good luck AT.

Work is starting to get interesting (interpreted as busy reading PRD documentations). I asked my coworker "why is our software so deep?" In other words, why are the navigation so complicated. His respond was, "We're defining our space," all the while in my head I'm thinking yeah but I'm lost among these SOP. (SOP = sea of pages) Image
Now you may say I'm familiar with business intelligence and I know there are tons of companies out there that does that. That may be true...but we're different. Don't ask me how we're different though. Image
I didn't know how involved designing application for business intelligence would be. Part of it is just organizing all these data (hardwares, softwares--assets) and presenting those data for analysis. Needless to say it's much more interesting work than before.
Our team Colossians are #1 in our Eastern Tribe standing. Last week our center Pastor Andy who is 6'5" scored 21 points. We're heading into the playoff with a 3 game winning streaks. Go Yellow!
