Some Passages

I wanted to blog about this if it wasn't for Dreamhost servers crashing earlier. Anyway they got it fixed now.

So after Kids Club this afternoon I thought I'll write some passages that will encourage us to think about what Easter truly means. There are many other religions but only one can claim that Jesus is the Son of God who resurrected from the dead.

1 Corinthians 15:20-21 20But Christ has indeed been raised from the dead, the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep. 21For since death came through a man, the resurrection of the dead comes also through a man.

Philippians 4:6 6Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.

Proverbs 3:5-6 5Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; 6in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.

John 3:16 16For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

Romans 3:23 23for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,

Romans 6:6-10 6For we know that our old self was crucified with him so that the body of sin might be done away with, that we should no longer be slaves to sin— 7because anyone who has died has been freed from sin. 8Now if we died with Christ, we believe that we will also live with him. 9For we know that since Christ was raised from the dead, he cannot die again; death no longer has mastery over him. 10The death he died, he died to sin once for all; but the life he lives, he lives to God.

Good Friday service is coming up, too, at the Marriot. Check it out here.
