the Steve Clifford mesage "All in with our Treasures" was truly awesome. it's the best I've heard so far on tithing. this was a very well researched sermon with lots of excellent biblical references and stories
some highlights: there are no fast rules in deciding how much to tithe. the best approach is a balancing approach between joy and sacrifice. we are all stewards - stewards don't own anything but manage things for the master.

Just listened to it online. I really liked this guy, straight up in your face!
For those that were there, my question is: in what ways are you challenged in light of this message.
For me it's realizing that I really don't own anything, but that its a responsibility that God's given me to take care of what He's given me. What's it really look like to live knowing that everything I take "ownership" of really isn't mine at all.

I remember he mentioned about your financial statement is a spiritual document. I thought that was an eye opener for me. Great sermon on money.
