OTC: Day 1 - God's Good Creation

Holla party people! Let's start STRONG TOGETHER for OTC day 1! If you have time post a comment with some answers to today's questions. I'll comment with mine later today =)

Gen 1, Ps 1
-What Hint about the "community nature" of God (the Trinity) can you see in Gen 1:2, 26-27?

-If God is invisible, what do you think "created in the image of God" means?

-How would we all treat each other differently if we really believed we were made in God's image - even w/ all our faults?

Comments

q1: v1,2 - There's a differentiation between "God" and "Spirit of God". v26 - Plural reference "Let Us make.." v27 - male + female in God's image. Does that mean God's image couldn't be captured in JUST male or JUST female?

q2: perhaps image is more like character. From chapter 1 alone, can we even conclude God is invisible from man at this pre-fall point? Perhaps its sin that blinds us. Because we have sin, the sight of God would kill us. But pre-fall, perhaps man could have seen God. (all speculation)

q3: having a greater respect for each other. Love God -> Love God's people. Call someone ugly -> call part of God ugly.
