What clue about our need for community is contained in Gen 2:18? Is a spouse the only solution for this need?
How did the serpent twist God's words in Gen 3:1 and 4 (compare Gen 2:1-6-17)
In spite of the curses, how did God show grace after the Fall? What does this tell you about him?
What NT event does Gen 3:15 foreshadow?
One of my reflections on this passage was about how the first thing that changed when man and woman sinned was the way they related to each other. It only took a couple verses for man to shift the blame to the woman and God. It's bittersweet to think God intended men and women to be able to relate on such an amazing level, but because of sin, the way we relate to one another is broken and shattered. Thoughts?

Yeah, there was a lot of blame shifting going on.
In 3:6, where it reads "...She also gave some to her husband, who was with her, and he ate it." The part where it states "...her husband, who was with her,...." makes me think about whether Adam was with Eve during the time the serpent was tempting Eve to eat the forbidden friut. I read a commentary that said he probably wasn't there, but I still want to read more views on this passage. Was Adam just standing by Eve and being quiet and passive when he should've been assertive? Hopefully, I'll remember to come back to this one when I have more input.

It is not good for the man to be alone… we have a need for a community, a social creature by nature. Maybe that is why God created us… for His community? Especially if we were made into an image of him.

Satan concentrated on the negative.. what couldn’t be done instead of all the things that were given to them that were good. Tried to make God look like a bad person.

He made garment to hide their nakedness

Satan will be crushed by messiah… off spring of women
