Mission Statement
I have just recently come to know and accept Christ in my life. I remembered the first heartfelt experience I had was during Good Friday service. After Communion, I came back to my seat and prayed to Jesus. Suddenly it was as if the weight of all my sins were lifted off and I felt a relief. You see we live in such a fast-paced Silicon Valley life that sometimes we lose sight of our purpose. I have no doubt that without a small group community I would be lost (lost = that which is broken beyond repair.)
I have since still struggle with my weaknesses and flaws but nothing will ever separate my relationship with God again. I think a part of my discovering Christ and growing to love Him is the encouragment and grace that was extended to me through my small group at Knot2Us. Like Jeremiah's potter God is always uniquely shaping and molding us by the Spirit. However it is through community that we learn to share our stories of comfort and pain, to encourage each other, and "to encounter the life and love of God, again and again."
Welcome 2 Knot2Us.:) Come up the stairs, come in, kick off your shoes, and feel at
home. Stepping over the beige carpet, you will have to watch out for Hagow, Kat15812's cat as she wanders to and fro. Here you will see us eating yummy dinner, snacking at Hawaii macadamia nuts, and taking a handful (at a
heaping bowl) of chocolate M&M candies. Chocolate is pretty central to our productivity in learning God's Word.
We want to make this place as homey as possible. Really all we can do is provide a place for people to be themselves. "Come As You Are...But Don't Stay that Way." So instead of going home to watch TV, to clean out your fridge, to tweeze your eyebrows, or lift weights at the gym...come to a place where you can learn Truth (Scriptural) and witness Grace (forgiveness and acceptance). That's what you'll do here.
