Spent most of Sunday in the City &mdash Stern Grove — better than expected. We (Andrea, Louise, Sharline, me) arrived to an overcast-foggy outer Sunset, somewhere between Sloat and 19th Ave.

Sandwiches on a slope hill listening to Dvorak's Symphony No. 9 From The New World. Thanks Andrea! I swore it sounded like Star War's Phantom Menace Duel of The Fates. It was fun being outdoor and listening to classical. Reminded of Disney's Fantasia and Fantasia 2000 and his idea also of a concert film shown in the outdoor.

Sometimes its hard to focus on the music being surrounded by the eucalyptus trees, looking up into the sky with the strings section (violin & viola) from the SF symphony in the foreground. I felt like I was gliding along with the music and the chirpings of the birds.

Thinking of when I was going to the Hollywood Bowls in L.A. every July 4th to hear John Williams performed. They would end it with Indiana Jones: Raiders of The Lost Ark and fireworks.

Headed over to Jazz Festival between Filmore and California. Walked around Filmore which looked very different with all the art booths, music, and people strolling about. I'm used to being there, chilling with my friends Kai, Richard, or Mattt over coffee at Starbucks, grabbing food at Dino's. SF being SF with its weird microclimate, the weather was actually sunny, not foggy at all &mdash until the fog started rolling in.

Woke up and went for a run with Karena, Andrea, Sharline, Anthony at Shoreline. About 3 miles and change. Never really run on that side of Shoreline and it was nice, scenic...but a littel hot already at 10am.
