Thurs: Dinner with Sandy's Parents and Sis

Had a wonderful four days off from work in which I got to eat dinner with Sandy and her parents, her sis Wendy and Mark. The girlfriend's place was much safer than I expected. haha. jk. It was very Chinese in decor, and came with a mahjong table. Nothing completes a Thanksgiving meal at the Lees without mahjong (and a birthday cake.) I can see now why mj can be addicting. Thanks Mrs. Lee for giving me the quick five-minute mahjong for dummies run-down.

Friday: Dinner at home

Every year the Thanksgiving at my home is always stressful and loud. This year was NOT any different. Loud being my bros. and me hording over the foosball table. It was nothing short of a bunch of grown adults reverting to our twelve year olds obnoxious selves. Sandy was giving me the "what the" look and I thought she would do her usual "forget him" and walk out of there. Welcome to Turkey day at the Langs. Sandy of course passed the time by falling in love with my sis's niece Lauren and vice versa. Haha she (Sands) is so cute around kids (being Lauren)—they were very adorable.

Sat: <3 4 the Homeless

This is how I remembered it: yum cha in Pleasanton's Tri-Valley Seafood with FOS (Friends of Sandy)—Ken and Erica; Costco and Target buying stuff for Hearts for the Homeless dinner. I think seeing Sandy serving and talking to the homeless made it extra special. It was also very nice to see Drew, Wuboy, and Hank lending a helping hands, too. Thanks for organizing it sweetie.

Sunday: Sandy's Birthday

Church following with lunch with her friends at Sui Tofu. I took her to my car and in the trunk lies her presents: flowers, card, and her iPod. After lunch we drove up to Union Square, walked around and enjoyed the Christmas tree, then headed over to our cable car ride to Fisherman's Wharf, tried a delicious cup of clam chowder at Crab station, then icecream at Ghirardelli. It was the first time I learned that Sandy—a native of the Bay Area—has NEVER ridden the cable car. Woah! After our cable car ride back to Union Sq. we walked over to dinner at Farallon. My humble evidence of the wonderful night at Flickr.
